What: The largest known water fall in the world even though it only carried water during past glacial floods. Great photographic opportunities. Fixed telescopes on grounds. Nice visitor center with displays, great movie helping understanding of basalt flows and glacial floods, and a book/gift center. Area of many geological features within very short drive.

 Where:  From Spokane go west on highway 2 to Coulee City where you cross a dike and immediately turn left on highway 17 south and it is only a couple miles to the center.
