| What: This site as far as I know is not known to anyone
but a few locals. A local resident of Wishram testified that these rocks
were covered with images that were perfectly clear when he was a child and
came up here to view them. That means that in about 70 years, a blackberry
bush growth due to birds eating berries and dropping seeds around the
area, grew up over the rocks, shading and somehow aiding the growth of a
black algae that covered many of the images. This is just theory, but seems the
most reliable cause of image disappearance. |
